Do's

1. Do use a Dust Mop. Removing grit and dirt from your floor. Doing this regularly will protect it. Use a soft natural dust mop to remove the dirt of the day. Always clean the dust mop after every use so that your floors are always clean.

2. Do use products made for marble and stone. Use pH neutral (non acidic) cleaning products.

3. Do use good quality door mats. These are very important as sand and particles of grit can enter the property and act as sandpaper on the floor, leaving minute scratches and dulling your marble.

4. Mop up spills immediately. Many foods and drinks can be acidic and etch the surface of your marble. an etched surface can leave the marble open to dirt penetration. If this happens don't worry, it can easily be rectified with the right equipment and operator.

Don'ts

1. Do not Use Common Household Cleaning Products

They are not made and are not to be used for cleaning marble, granite or any natural stone. Avoid these acidic, caustic or abrasive cleaners.

★Tile & Grout cleaners

★Hydrogen peroxide (agua oxigenada)

★Disinfectants

2. Do not leave rubbish bags sitting on your marble floors. Many make this mistake. Food residue can leak out and stain or worse, etch into the marble.
